1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the rendoc API and website at rendoc.dev ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

rendoc provides a cloud-based API for generating PDF documents from HTML, React components, and templates. The Service includes the API, dashboard, documentation, and any related tools or integrations.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your API keys. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. API Usage

You must use API keys to authenticate requests. Do not share your API keys publicly.
Usage is subject to the rate limits and quotas of your subscription plan.
You may not use the API to generate illegal, harmful, or abusive content.
Automated abuse, scraping, or excessive requests that degrade the Service for others are prohibited.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Violate any applicable law or regulation.
Generate documents containing malware, phishing content, or fraudulent information.
Infringe on intellectual property rights of third parties.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission.

6. Pricing and Payment

Some features require a paid subscription. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice. Payments are non-refundable except as required by law. If you exceed your plan's limits, additional charges may apply or your access may be throttled.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you generate using the Service. rendoc retains all rights to the Service itself, including its software, API, documentation, and branding. You grant rendoc a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. rendoc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain your data as required by law.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
